Elections 2018

The 2018 Elections are Here. Be a Voice for Ontario's Libraries.

OLA, and the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries (FOPL), has created a toolkit to help you and your library prepare for the 2018 Provincial and Municipal Elections: librariesvote.ca

The 2018 Ontario Provincial (June 7th) and Municipal (October 22nd) elections are a critical opportunity for Ontario's Library sector to engage with candidates to demonstrate the extensive value that today's public, school and First Nations libraries provide in communities large and small across Ontario.

You can help!

  • Meet with candidates!
  • Ask tough questions!
  • Engage your community!

Tips, resources and examples of how your library can engage this election season, available at librariesvote.ca !
