Other Duties as Required

The OPLA Child and Youth Services Committee presents an annual forum for children's and youth library services staff and other stakeholders to exchange ideas and learn about innovative programs and services in order to provide the best programming for children and youth. 

Two Day Event This Year!

Date: Monday November 5 - Tuesday November 6, 2018
Venue: Progress Campus, Centennial College. 941 Progress Avenue, Scarborough
Registration cost: $250 full conference; $160 per day 
Bus transportation available from Union Station for $10 a day

OLA Travel Fund

The OLA Board of Directors has established a modest travel fund to ensure members of the association have opportunities to participate in OLA programs despite geographical barriers. For more information.


A block of rooms has been reserved at the nearby Holiday Inn Express - a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Centennial College. Room rates range from $127-$131.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations will be reimbursed at 75% until 30 days prior to the event; 50% until 15 days prior and will not be reimbursed at all within 14 days of the event. Registration can be transferred to another staff member at any point during the registration process. Please email your cancellation or transfer requests to education@accessola.com.
