OCULA Ambassador Program
OCULA Ambassadors are OLA members working
in university and college libraries in Ontario who serve as liaisons
between their institutional constituents and OCULA council. Ambassadors
play a crucial role in increasing participation and engagement amongst
OCULA’s broader membership, streamlining communication and ensuring all
members have a voice. If you are interested in becoming the OCULA
Ambassador for your institution, please contact Jack Young or Andrew Colgoni.
OLA Super Conference Planners
Super Conference planners coordinate
the program planning and operation of OLA’s annual conference. The OCULA
division maintains two Super Conference planner positions (one college
and one university). These planners are responsible for providing
updates at quarterly council meetings and reporting financial and
program results of the conference at the spring meeting of the OLA Board
of Directors. There are lots of opportunities for OCULA
members to get involved during Super Conference such as volunteering to
be a convener for one of your colleagues sessions. More information
about these opportunities are sent to members via email in the months
leading up to Super Conference.
OCULA NRLA Fundraising Committee
The OCULA New Librarian Residency
Award Fundraising Committee is responsible for the development and
implementation of fundraising initiatives to support the New Librarian
Residency Award (NLRA). The committee is comprised of three current
OCULA council members. Find out more about the New Librarian Residency Award.
