About Us

Together for Learning is a project of the Ontario School Library Association.

This website builds on the guideline document, Together for Learning: School Libraries and the Emergence of the Learning Commons, published by the Ontario Library Association in 2010, with support from the Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat of the Ontario Ministry of Education.

With ideas and resources for implementation and a showcase of accomplishments in Ontario's schools, the website provides a resource for teachers, teacher-librarians, school administrators and educational leaders across the province, the country and beyond.

Ideas and resources in this website have been contributed by members of the Ontario School Library Association and The Association of Library Consultants and Coordinators of Ontario.

The Together for Learning project is the 2013 recipient of the Ontario Library Association's President's Award for Exceptional Achievement.
